AIRWAYS AVIATION Portugal
Airways Aviation Portugal was founded in early 2025, following the expansion process of the Airways Aviation group.
Portugal was approved as a fair-weather base of Airways Aviation Nordic by Traficom, the Finish aviation authority, which is the entity that oversees the training, under EASA regulation.
Theoretical training is delivered in Lisbon and Ponte de Sor. Practical training is carried out in Cascais and Ponte de Sor aerodromes.

FACILITIES
The fleet in Portugal includes Diamond DA40NG, Cirrus SR20 and Diamond DA42NG aircraft.
A Diamond DA42 simulator based in Portugal is used for procedures and instrument training. APS MCC is performed on an Airbus A320 FTD Level 1 simulator in Finland.
